My 2018 reading goals include reading 40 books, reading books written by African authors or authors of color and reading books with a mental health theme.

This means that on average I need to read about 3 to 4 books a month.
I've already read The Richest Man in Babylon which is completely out pf my reading comfort anx preference zone but found rather insightful and informative on financial management and saving.
Since I had a few books on my shelf that I disnt aant to keep or had no intention of ever reading, I took them to Uncle Spikes Book Exchange to trade for the next two books I plan on reading this month. I was fprtunate enough to discover their African writters corner and copped Meridian by Alice Walker and Wizard of the Crown by Ngugi wa Thiong'o (which I've already started reading, it's a real page turner)
Because its such a thick book (768 pages long), my January reading list only includes these 3 books.

What are you reading this month...?
